Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger will be appearing at the Bay Area Council's annual conference on the USS Hornet this Wednesday, April 16th.

Please join KASE, AEF, the Alameda PTA Council, AUSD staff and teachers, and other community members at a rally that morning to let both Schwarzenegger and the Bay Area Council (comprised of the Bay Area's most prominent business leaders) know that "public education is too valuable to throw away!"

Time: Anytime between 7am and noon

Place: USS Hornet (look for the crowd and signs!)

Bring: Warm clothes, hot drinks, and lots of friends.

Please also join us for a last-minute poster-making party so that everyone who shows up will have a sign to hold. That party will be held at Longfellow School (5th and Lincoln Streets) from 7-8 pm, Tuesday. Kids welcome!
